Reason for choosing appreciation
You might notice in my articles, and in your sessions with me, that I tend to use the word ‘appreciation’ or ‘appreciate’ in place of the more commonly used ‘gratitude’ or ‘grateful’.
My reason for choosing appreciation is not simply one of semantics.
It has more to do with energy. There are subtle forces at play in any words we choose, as well as the emotion and feeling we associate with Read More »
Rhema Marvanne Voraritskul sings gospel to glorify God. What’s so special about that in the world of gospel singers?
Plenty.
First of all, there’s Rhema herself. She’s seven years old and her music has the potential to touch the soul deeply. Sometimes angels in embodiment have come simply to remind us how to let go, and let their sound heal us.
Watch and listen to Rhema sing Amazing Grace (a chipelo) and prepare to open your heart Read More »

Thrilling to life’s elixir of appreciation
I appreciate you. I appreciate the many people and experiences I meet and share. I appreciate the things that facilitate these blessings. There are too many to list here, many are Read More »
2009 has been a year of mixed blessings and joys. And certainly filled with its share of interesting experiences.
The same can be said about the first decade of the new millennium. Everyone’s saying, and it does seem true, how the last decade has passed swiftly. And how it has concluded with more than its expected share of changes.
I’d love to hear what your thoughts are or at least how you are processing them. I’m sure you also reflect on this, on where you’ve been and where you’ve come now that we are at the end of the first decade of the new millennium.
What are your dreams?
How do you view the year and decade past? What are your hopes and dreams for the year ahead?
I know I’ve changed over this decade in more ways than I even Read More »

This is the season for reflecting on what matters most, and so I naturally think of our connections. Although we may have met only through this blog or by phone, I feel we have already met in person. And can it also be that we have deeper connections, that we have also met in a more elemental way?
At some level of consciousness, we meet inside the spiritual concepts we share. These can include ideas on how to take responsibility for shaping our individual worlds, and how our personal decisions effect the planet we share. Or anything that matters right now.
Because we really are spiritually related, we can exchange greetings and love by just our thoughts and feelings. We also show Read More »
Sending you my heartfelt wishes for a blessed holiday season. Here’s a guided, mini-meditation MP3.
Use it anytime you want a quick break to ease yourself into a quiet, peaceful state within. You may want to also use it to extend into a longer, quiet meditation session.
Look for a message here next Monday for a special holiday treat.
Joy and peace be yours,
Donna
‘Tis the season to be jolly
The holidays are a time of warm feelings, family get togethers. A time to reunify loving relationships.
They can also be a challenge.
People who are normally not prone to throwing energy tantrums can find themselves doing so. They may feel overwhelmed with feeling ‘not enough’ — not enough time to finish the shopping, write the cards, plan the meals, prepare for travel or visitors.
Crowded roadways, long lines and frenzied shopping can lead to emotional outbursts. Road rage can take over a person like entity possession, and Read More »

Seven Chakra Keys
Seven chakra keys of alchemy
In this series on Alchemy, I’ve mentioned a foolproof method for successful alchemy. This method is not for sale. And you can master these keys if you put your whole body-mind to it.
So, with all this personal power you have been mastering, you should be able to just wave a magic wand and create whatever you desire, right? Not exactly and here’s why:
Although it takes spiritual alignment and alchemy to create, you need ‘something more’ to do the job successfully. That ‘something more’? A rock solid, personal value system to hold it all together.
Sadly, such habits for preserving personal power are often the most neglected aspect of living. Their lack is usually found at the core of mediocrity or even failure. How can you ensure you are building a solid value system? By adopting or reaffirming the spiritual values listed Read More »
“Our world bank is blue”

World Ocean Map - via Wikipedia
Continuing in this series on Who Heals the Earth, I want to do more than ‘think blue’. I’m going to confess my weakness: failing to do all I can to preserve the lifeblood of our life support system.
How many times have I mindlessly walked by a piece of trash dropped on the street near the drain? Or, other times, thought to excuse myself since I had no disposable glove or bag to pick it up with?
Another unconscionable ‘for instance’: though I’ve been aware of the need to ‘think blue’ and even made personal changes in how I use water, at the same time I somehow made it ‘okay’ (in my reasoning mind) about eating sushi. Until today.
Today I’m paying more attention to what oceanographer Sylvia Earle has been teaching for a long time. Her citing of Read More »
Can we truly heal Mother Earth?

Earth from Space - Courtesy of NASA via Wikipedia
For years I have been working with meditation and prayer partners, or leading telemeditations for collective earth energy-healing work. I was a vegan for many years until severe anemia caused me to modify my diet.
And I continue to listen to what others are saying about our planet with an open mind.
But last week a friend from Germany sent me a link to a trailer of the Earthlings Documentary that did more than open my mind. (The footage I’ve linked to was the least shocking I could find.)
For several days I stopped eating all but a few greens, then I just stopped eating meat. I’m still working on how far to go, to embrace authentic vegan living.
I also struggle with how to deal with my existing wardrobe and household sundries, with it’s Read More »
