Breathing appreciation: meditation experienceBreathing appreciation changes energy

In my last article I recommended taking note of how the use of the word appreciation can change your energy.

After you apply some of the techniques I provided, you may immediately notice changes in your personal power as you gently wrap your energy around the word ‘appreciation’. If at any time you are not feeling quite the same sweetness you did when you first explored the sensation of appreciation, stop for a moment and just breathe.

Inside your heart’s feeling

Take a peek inside your heart of feeling. Notice what if anything may be in the way. You might want use my guided breathing exercise to assist you to clear any unwanted energy. The meditation is posted as an MP3 at my TeleMeditations podcast site.

Breathing and checking in with compassion for your feelings can be valuable for strengthening a habit of appreciation.

Among other benefits, breathing with compassion can help you discover what might still need weeding or pruning whenever you are building new habits. It can also help naturally clear you, then assist you with the planting of your own seeds of inspiration, and with adding the nutrients and water of your lavish yet sincere appreciation.

Breathing meditation on appreciation

Breathing while absorbing the higher meaning of the word ‘appreciation’ is a refinement that can lift your whole being into a higher frequency. A simplified pranayama meditation can help you form the habit of easily being in a state of almost constant appreciation.

You can try just breathing and mentally allowing the word ‘appreciation’ to flow in and out. You can start by breathing simply this way for two minutes, gradually working up to about five minutes. With regular practice you can extend that time as long as it is comfortable to do so.

Begin any meditation only when you are in a safe and relaxed environment. The appreciation meditation that I have recorded at TeleMeditations helps you notice how your breath attunes you to the natural rhythm of your subtle body. The subtle body is the energy that animates you through your breath.

Notice  any feelings that might come up as you practice imbibing  and releasing appreciation with the breath. If you experience any uneasiness, just keep breathing through it until it releases, and you truly feel the lighter state of appreciation.

After you try out the combination of breathing and accepting appreciation, let me know about your results. I’d also enjoy hearing specifically how it helps you tune into subtle changes. You can post them in the comment section, below.

If you’ve been practicing refining the words you choose, let me know how the energy of the mental, written or spoken word empowers you.
