I never really though about the difference between gratitude and appreciation.  However as soon as I read your article, it really resonated with me.  There is at times a negative feeling associated with gratitude. Something that I sometimes reach for in times of desperation.  I am looking forward to applying appreciation in all of my encounters and endeavors.
